Mehendi and sangeet catering in Mumbai, for guests on their feet.
- Haldi or mehendi at homeFrom ₹650per guest
- Buffet with serviceFrom ₹850per guest
- Live countersFrom ₹1,200per guest
A mehendi runs long, with guests seated for the henna and standing for everything else; a sangeet runs late, on its feet. Kravvia, founded 1999 in Santacruz, caters both off the published card: a staffed buffet from ₹850 a guest from 50 guests, live counters from ₹1,200 from 100, and drop-off from ₹650 for a haldi or a small mehendi at home from 20. Every plate is vegetarian; strict Jain comes from a fully isolated Jain kitchen since 2012.

The house view
Feed the room in waves, not at one dinner bell. Open with welcome drinks and the chaat counter while the henna starts; the main spread follows once the bride's hands are done, and the dessert station holds until the dancing ends. At a sangeet, two live counters, the chaat cart and the dosa tava or wood-fired pizza, keep the queue moving between performances, where a single buffet line empties the dance floor. Count the Jain guests at the brief and give them a line of their own.

The detail that matters
A separate line for the Jain guests
When the guest list includes strict Jain family, their plates come from a fully isolated Jain kitchen running since 2012, with separate prep and separate utensils, from ₹850 per guest: no roots, not merely no onion and garlic. They are served from a line of their own, so nobody has to ask what is in a dish. Live counters run in Jain spec too, the chaat counter among them. Name the count at the brief, not on the lawn.
