Jain Wedding Catering in Bandra West — Kravvia
Bandra West weddings at Taj Lands End and Sea Princess demand Jain menus without compromise. Kravvia has run them since 1999.

Bandra West sets the brief
Bandra West hosts some of Mumbai’s most scrutinised wedding receptions. Ballrooms at Taj Lands End, Sea Princess and the smaller banquet halls along Carter Road routinely seat 200–500 guests across communities where Jain dietary requirements are non-negotiable — not a preference, not a request noted in the margin, but a kitchen-level specification that shapes every station from arrival to dessert.
Kravvia has catered Jain weddings in Bandra West since its founding year of 1999. The kitchen at Hubtown Solaris, Andheri East operates a fully isolated Jain prep area — separate utensils, separate storage, separate cook briefed on the distinction between strict Jain (no root vegetables, no fermented ingredients, no five pungent roots) and Vaishnav-friendly. That 2012 investment in a second kitchen is what the spec demands.
What a Jain wedding in Bandra West requires
Guest counts for Bandra West weddings cluster between 200 and 500. The Jain fraction varies — sometimes 40% of the room, sometimes 100%. Either way, the Jain menu must be self-contained: no shared ladles, no cross-contamination on the buffet line, labelled serving trays. Caterers who flag Jain as an add-on rather than a designed system produce menus that read Jain but taste diluted.
Venue logistics in Bandra West add their own constraints. Taj Lands End and Sea Princess have loading-dock windows and in-house service teams that expect precise co-ordination. Smaller halls off Hill Road and in Bandra East’s overflow corridors often have tighter kitchenette access, requiring Kravvia to prep more off-site and seal trays for transit. Both scenarios are standard for the team.
Jain weddings also run longer service windows. A typical five-hour reception in Bandra West means a welcome-drinks station, a starter round, a main-course buffet and a dessert close — with live counters often anchoring the cocktail hour. Each station must hold Jain integrity throughout.

Booking notes
Kravvia requires a minimum 10 days’ lead time for Jain weddings above 150 guests in Bandra West. Saturdays in October–February book earliest; a 3-week window is safer for peak-season Saturdays.
A tasting session is available at Hubtown Solaris, Andheri East — 6–8 dishes from your shortlisted menu, plated to service standard. Most couples use the tasting to confirm the Jain-spec details: does the Paneer Makhani taste whole, not compromised, without the onion base? It does.
