Sangeet catering in Andheri West: the late-night spread

The sangeet is the most food-forward event in a Mumbai wedding week — what holds for two hours, what photographs, and which two live counters carry the night.

The sangeet is not a formal dinner. It's an event that goes late, where guests graze between dance performances, where children run between tables and elderly relatives need somewhere comfortable to sit. The food at a sangeet has to do three things simultaneously: feed 250 people who aren't sitting still, hold well for two hours without deteriorating, and photograph spectacularly at the live counters.

What Andheri West sangeets require

Andheri West sangeet venues — the party plots off Andheri-Kurla Road, the banquet halls near Lokhandwala, the rooftop spaces in Versova — typically host 150–300 guests. The format is cocktail-party-meets-late-dinner: finger food and welcome drinks for the first ninety minutes, then a buffet opens. Live counters run all evening.

The crowd at an Andheri sangeet is usually younger and more adventurous than a formal reception crowd — which is an opportunity. They'll line up for the Churro Station at 11pm. They'll photograph the Chaat Counter. They'll come back for the Asian Wok twice. Use that energy.

The Kravvia Andheri West sangeet menu

Welcome drinks: Virgin Mojito, Watermelon Mojito, Kiwi Cooler, Aam Panna — all chilled, poured fresh. Starters (passed): Mini Punjabi Samosa, Paneer Capsicum Samosa, Hara Bhara Kabab, Crispy Corn. Then the buffet opens: Paneer Makhani, Veg Handi, Dal Tadka, Veg Biryani, plain rice. Breads from the live Tandoor counter.

The live counters are where a sangeet becomes memorable. Our standard sangeet pairing: one Chaat Counter (pani puri, sev puri, bhel puri, dahi puri — made to order in front of guests) and one dessert station (Churro or Waffle Bar). For larger sangeets of 250+, we add a third counter — often a South Indian Dosa station or an Asian Wok, depending on the family's preferences.

Pricing band

Sangeet catering at Kravvia for Andheri West venues starts from ₹750 per guest for a cocktail-and-buffet format. Live counters add ₹200–₹350 per guest per counter. For a 200-guest sangeet with a Chaat Counter and Churro Station, the all-in estimate runs ₹950–₹1,100 per guest.

Frequently asked

How late do the live counters run? We staff counters until the last guest leaves. If your sangeet goes to 1am, the Churro Station goes to 1am.

Can we do Jain chaat? Yes — our Chaat Counter has a full Jain spec option (Jain pani, no onion, no garlic condiments). Tell us at booking.

What's the minimum for a sangeet booking? 80 guests for full-service catering with live counters.

Do you handle the décor for the food stations? We handle the functional setup of all food stations including branding boards if required. Floral décor for counters is coordinated separately with your decorator.
