Holi party catering in Andheri West

Outdoor format, hungry post-colour crowd, often Jain-mixed — Holi catering in Andheri West runs on the welcome drinks station and the chaat counter, in that order.

Holi catering runs on a different timing curve from any other Mumbai event. Guests arrive at noon, play with colour for ninety minutes, and only sit down to eat after two o'clock. Which means the food has to hold for a long service window, must read as finger-friendly rather than gravy-heavy, and has to feel festive without sliding into formal. On the terrace of a Versova bungalow, the compound of a Lokhandwala building, or the lawns of an Andheri sports club, the chaat counter is the Holi counter — there is no functional substitute. The welcome drinks station does the second-most-important job: guests arriving warm and thirsty after the colour play hit the drinks line first, and the volume that station moves in the first twenty minutes determines the energy of the rest of the afternoon.

What Holi catering in Andheri West requires

Andheri West Holi events run 80–300 guests. The format is almost always outdoor — terrace, compound, garden — which means food stations need to be self-contained (no reliance on the building's kitchen infrastructure) and weather-appropriate. March in Mumbai is warm but rarely raining; the logistics concern is dust and open-air food safety, which we manage with covered serving stations and a strict timing protocol.

Welcome drinks at a Holi event do significant work — guests are thirsty and warm by the time they've played for 90 minutes. The drink station is often the most-visited spot in the first 20 minutes after colour play ends.

The Kravvia Holi spread

Welcome drinks (the priority): Aam Panna, Shikanji, Watermelon Mojito, Cucumber Cooler — chilled and poured in large quantities. Thandai if requested (we prepare a non-alcoholic, saffron-cardamom-badam version). Starters: Mini Punjabi Samosa, Corn Tikki, Hara Bhara Kabab — all served in small portions that are one or two bites. Easy to eat standing, easy to eat post-colour.

Live Chaat Counter: pani puri, sev puri, dahi puri, bhel puri. This is the spine of the Holi catering — a Holi event without a chaat counter is incomplete. Lunch (late, after play): Paneer Makhani, Dal Tadka, Veg Pulao, phulkas. Dessert: Gulab Jamun, Moong Dal Halwa, fresh seasonal fruit.

Pricing band

Holi party catering at Kravvia starts from ₹700 per guest for a full outdoor event spread (welcome drinks + starters + live chaat + lunch + dessert). Live Chaat Counter is included in this format — it's not optional for a Holi event. For events over 150 guests, we add a second chaat chef. Minimum 60 guests.

Booking notes

Holi falls in March — a specific, fixed-date event. Catering for Holi books out in February. If your building or office is planning a Holi event, confirm by mid-February. WhatsApp Priti at +91 98207 11758 to block the date before it fills.

Frequently asked

Can the food be served outdoors? Yes — our outdoor setup uses covered serving stations, insulated containers, and a setup that doesn't depend on the building's kitchen access.

Do you serve Thandai? Yes — we prepare a non-alcoholic Thandai (badam, saffron, cardamom, rose, pepper) as a festival-specific addition. Available with 14 days' notice at ₹120 per portion.

Is the chaat Jain-friendly? Yes — we run a Jain pani puri option alongside the standard. Jain bhel (no onion) is prepared separately and labelled.

What if the event is moved indoors due to weather? March weather in Mumbai is reliably dry. If the event moves indoors, our setup adapts without needing a different menu.
